Yes. Keeping art is free, with no limit on drawings or children. You only pay if you want more films than the free ones every new account gets. Prices are shown in the app.

Tap the ⋯ button on the home screen, then Add a child under Children. Each child gets their own colour and drawer. You can put a piece in more than one child's drawer if they made it together.

So every piece can show how old your child was when they made it, and stay right years later. We don't need the full date of birth, so we don't ask for it.

Yes. Pick a photo from your library and set the date it was made. The age on the piece is worked out from that date.

On most iPhones and Android phones, yes: use Scan drawings on the capture screen and keep going until the pile is done. Each page is straightened and cropped for you.

No. Without one, everything stays on your phone only. Sign in with Apple, Google or your email to back up your drawer and get it back on a new phone. You also need an account to make films.

Install Doodlesake on the new phone and sign in with the same Apple, Google or email account. Your children, art and films come back automatically.

Tap ⋯ on the home screen, then Export everything. You get a zip file with a folder per child and every photo named by date and title, plus a file with all titles and stories. Save it wherever you like.

Open a piece and tap Bring it to life. You get a three-line story you can change or have rewritten for free, in one of seven languages. When you're happy, the drawing is animated in three short shots with captions, ending on the original drawing with your child's name and age.

No. In this version films are made on your phone. If we ever make them on our servers, we will tell you and ask first, and only the one drawing and its story would be sent, never your child's name, age or your email. See the privacy policy.

No. If a film fails on our side, the credit comes back by itself. If the film was made but you don't like it, email us and we'll take a look.

Tap Send to family under the film. It opens your phone's share sheet, so you can use WhatsApp, Messages, email or anything else.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Doodlesake. On Android: Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.

Make sure you're signed in, then open the plans screen and tap Restore purchases. Still missing? Email us with the date of the purchase.

Refunds go through the store you paid. For the App Store, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, use your order history in Google Play.

Doodlesake is made for parents. Children can look at their art and films with you, but the app never asks them anything, shows no ads and has no way to talk to strangers. Your backup is stored in the EU and only you can see it.

Tap ⋯ on the home screen, then Account and backup, then Delete my account. No phone at hand? Use the delete account page. This deletes your backup, photos and films from our servers straight away. The art on your phone stays until you delete it there. Export first if you want a copy.
