Delete your account

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Doodlesake and tap the ⋯ button on the home screen.
2. Tap Account and backup.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away. Want a copy first? Tap Export everything before you delete.

Without the app

Email privacy@doodlesake.app from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, tell us that and we will help you find the account. We delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your account and email address
• Your backup: children's names and birth months, every photo, title, date and story
• Your film credits and film history

What is kept

• The art on your phone, until you delete the app or the pieces there.
• A one-way hash of your email, so the free films can't be claimed again. It can't be turned back into your address.
• Purchase records, as long as Dutch tax law requires (7 years). Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google: cancel them in your App Store or Google Play settings, because deleting your account does not stop a subscription.
• Anonymous usage events, until they expire (see the privacy policy).
