Terms of use
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and 01001011 Stam BV (Chamber of Commerce number [KvK number]), the Netherlands, the maker of Doodlesake. By using the app you agree to them. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it.
1. Who can use Doodlesake
You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account, add children and buy films. You may only add children you are a parent or carer of, or whose parent or carer has agreed.
2. Your art stays yours
Everything you put in Doodlesake belongs to you and your family. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: storing your backup, showing it to you on your devices, and making the films you ask for. We don't use your art for anything else, don't show it to anyone, and don't use it to train AI.
Only add art that you or your children made, or that you otherwise have the right to keep. Don't use Doodlesake for anything unlawful or harmful.
3. Films
- A film is made from your drawing and the story you approve. Results vary, and some drawings will move better than others.
- Each film uses one film credit. New accounts get free films; Premium adds credits every month; film packs add credits that never expire. The current numbers are shown in the app.
- Monthly Premium credits end with the subscription month they belong to. Unused monthly credits don't roll over.
- If a film fails on our side, the credit goes back to you automatically. Asking for a new version of a film that did work uses a new credit.
- We may refuse to make a film of content that is unsafe or unsuitable for children.
- Films made with AI are marked as such, as EU law requires.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Premium and film packs are bought through the App Store or Google Play and paid to Apple or Google. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Premium renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account or Google Play settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Your rights as a consumer under EU law are not affected.
5. Your account and your data
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can export everything and delete your account at any time from the app. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
6. Keeping your art safe
We work hard to keep your backup safe and available, but no service is perfect. Keep the originals you care about most, and use Export everything now and then. If we ever stop offering Doodlesake, we will tell you at least 60 days ahead so you can export your drawer.
7. Liability
Doodlesake is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you in the app at least 30 days before it applies. You can stop using Doodlesake at any time by deleting your account. We may close accounts that break these terms.
9. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If something goes wrong, email support@doodlesake.app first and we will try to sort it out. If we can't, disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court where you live.
